New Year, New Workouts!
Turning Point Residents are starting the new year with new exercise equipment to bolster their fitness routines!
“Adding the stationary bike and the elliptical machine to our open air gym will not only help us refresh the fitness program this year but will also give our residents access to the type of equipment they will utilize in the community upon completion our program”, says Mr. Oliver Wilson, Program Manager.
Physical health and wellness is a key part of recovery and it is important that our residents feel confident and prepared to enter all positive spaces when they re-enter society, including the gym.
“Thank you to all our community partners who contribute to keeping our addiction treatment and recovery programs engaging for our residents. As we work to continue improving the overall health and wellness of our residents and in so doing our community, we ask that as you make your priorities for the new year, that you keep Turning Point in your plans and your prayers as well”, asks Dr. Tasheena Thomas, Executive Director and Senior Counselor.
